We would like to point out that this Statement of faith is merely a fallible human summary of what we believe and our beliefs are not limited to the beneath list. Essentially we recognise the fallibility of man and the infallibility of God, and his word. As stated in point 1, the Bible is the only reliable source and authority on what we believe.
We believe that all Scripture (i.e. the 66 books of the Bible) is given by inspiration of God, is inerrant, infallible, possessing plenary inspiration in the original writings, and has been preserved with full integrity so that its teaching is absolute, final and our sole authority.
We believe in one God, the great living Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is merciful and gracious; slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. He is spirit, unique, omnipotent, omnipresent, and eternally existing in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. They are co-equal, and co-eternal, and are sovereign in creation, providence and redemption. These three are one God, the Holy Trinity existing in perfect unity, having the same nature and perfection.
We believe in God the Father who is the beginning of all divine activity, and the fountain and wellspring of all things; He is actively seeking worshippers and drawing them to his Son. He has sent the Son into the world, and He gives us the Holy Spirit. The Father is made known to us by the Son.
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ who is God, the Living Word:
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of Mary when she was still a virgin, and is truly God and truly man.
We believe in his sinless life, his miracles. He is the full and final revelation of God and God’s nature.
He died as the propitiatory sacrifice for our sins. His shed blood and resurrection provide the only ground for justification and eternal salvation.
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of the Lord Jesus Christ. He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God as High Priest, Lord and Advocate.

We believe in the personal visible return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and that his coming again is the “Blessed Hope” set before us which we should constantly be expecting.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the source and power of all acceptable worship and service; without whose regenerating power the preaching of the cross is foolishness, and without no one can say “Jesus is Lord”. He is the anointing possessed by every child of God and his illumination is needed to have spiritual and growing understanding of the Word of God. He is ever present to testify of Christ, seeking to occupy us with Him and not with our experiences or ourselves. He convicts, regenerates, indwells, guides, instruct, and empowers the believer for godly living and service.
We believe that God created mankind in his image and likeness (having rational, moral, relational, and spiritual capacities) to fellowship with Him and give Him glory. Every human being therefore possesses inherent dignity and moral worth, and are thus distinct from all other life on earth. Adam and Eve, the first human beings, chose to rebel against God and fell out of their sinless state by an act of disobedience. As a result, all of mankind became separated from God, the image of God in mankind is now distorted, and the sinful nature is passed on to all their offspring.
We believe that all have sinned and are lost, already under condemnation and unable to save themselves or earn the favour of God. An eternal punishment is prepared for those who not accept God’s provision for their sins.
We believe that all who repent of their sin and trust the personal call of God in the gospel are saved by grace alone. Trusting in Jesus Christ as their Saviour they become Children of God. They pass out of spiritual death into everlasting life, justified by faith alone, accepted by the Father, loved as Christ is loved and united to Him by the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the souls of those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, at death immediately pass into His presence. They remain with Him in conscious happiness until the resurrection of the body at his coming, when soul and body reunited shall be with Him forever in glory.
We believe in the personal existence of the Devil or Satan, who is a fallen angel and the enemy of God and of all God’s children. The eternal fire (Hell) is reserved for the future punishment of the Devil.
